Step into Emerald Crossing, an Irish adventure through Psalm 23, where children will discover the faithful love and guidance of God through Bible lessons, music, crafts, games, and fun-filled activities. In a warm and welcoming setting, kids will learn what it means to follow the Good Shepherd, trust God’s care, and grow in faith together.

VBS Questions Parents Often Ask

Can I pick my child up before VBS ends?

Yes. Early pickup is absolutely fine if needed. At the same time, most children enjoy staying through the full program, since the closing portion of the day is often one of the most enjoyable.

May a parent or guardian stay during VBS?

Yes. Parents and guardians are welcome to stay. If you would like to remain on site throughout VBS, additional volunteer or safety requirements may apply depending on your level of involvement.

Can I help with VBS even if I am not a member of the church?

Yes. We are glad to welcome volunteers from the broader community. Anyone serving with children may need to complete the church’s required clearances and training steps.

Does my child need to attend every day of VBS?

No. Children are welcome to attend even if they cannot be present every day. At the same time, attending the full week allows them to experience the complete program.

Is there a cost to attend VBS?

VBS is free of charge and open to children ages 4 through 5th grade! As part of this year’s VBS theme, we will also be encouraging families to take part in our optional school supplies drive to help support children and families in need.

Who should I contact if I have questions?

Please contact Deb Haneman at 215-208-2292 or dhaneman314@gmail.com. She will be happy to help.
