United Methodist Women Soup Lunch & Program

Wednesday, March 18
11:00 a.m. Program, followed by Lunch

Join us for a meaningful morning of history, fellowship, and community. Patricia Mervine will be with us to share insights from her book, Slavery, Friends, and Freedom in Bucks County. Along with co-author Joe Coleman, Pat highlights compelling stories of Bucks County individuals and locations connected to the Underground Railroad.

She will also explore the historical laws that led to increased border crossings and the powerful social movements that emerged during that pivotal period in our nation’s history.

Copies of Slavery, Friends, and Freedom in Bucks County will be available for purchase. All proceeds from book sales will support the African American Museum of Bucks County’s Capital Campaign (215 E. Richardson Avenue, Langhorne, PA).

We hope you will join us for this engaging and educational event.
